Our Grand Prize Draw 2024 took place during our Autumn Show of ‘Songs from the Shows’ by Cannock Wood And Gentleshaw Musical Society (CWAGMS) on 2 November 2024.
The response throughout the year was amazing, with 3,104 tickets sold, plus donations, making a net gain of £4,970. That money goes directly into our restoration funds.

For the show, we were captivated by the outstanding performance of CWAGMS. Rousing renditions – including ‘The Wind beneath my Wings’ and ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, stirring songs from Wicked, Six the Musical and Neverland, plus amazing arrangements of ‘My Heart will go on’ and ‘Heaven is a Place on Earth’ were rounded off appropriately by ‘What a Swell Party this is’ – it certainly was!
