About the Piling Appeal
Your name could be on the Lichfield Canal far into the future with our Piling Appeal.
Steel piling is used as channel protection for the sections beside Falkland Road and Tamworth Road. It is a well-proven, robust, long-term solution to water containment where the bank has to be supported or if there is limited land available.
For a donation of £20, you can have a personal tag attached to the piling. It could be your name, a memorable pet, a Club group or secret code known only to you.
Please note: We will make every effort to fix a tag with a message of your choice in your preferred location but cannot make any guarantees as to the timescale, or the location. No responsibility can be accepted for errors and omissions although we will always try to correct any mistakes.
