Fancy getting your hands dirty? The construction workparty could be up right your street. You’d be working on the frontline of the restoration – building the canal by laying bricks, concrete or paths. Our workparty is in action most weekdays, but you can join them whenever you are available, and you’ll be building a legacy.
What you’ll be doing
Tasks vary but could include:
- Bricklaying
- Path building
- Concreting
- Piling
- Other manual labour
Time commitment
Our workparties are usually on site each weekday, subject to weather conditions, but you can give any amount of time that you are able. You could do one day or more.
The skills you need
You don’t need any particular skills, as we’ll show you what to do, but if you do have any construction skills, they would be welcome.
