We are pleased to announce that we have a new ambassador; Steve Court of ‘Court above the Cut’.
Steve is the man behind the camera for Court above the Cut, a growing YouTube channel filming canal and heritage from both the ground and by drone. A plumber by day, his support for the canals and canal restoration takes up most of his spare time. He has been a supporter and member of LHCRT for a number of years and has featured us in many of his videos, as well as encouraging people to become members.
As ambassador he will continue to inspire people to support us and educate them about what we do, increasing the reach of the Trust and raising awareness of our work. It is an important role on the ground in nurturing and growing practical and financial support.
Christine Howles, LHCRT communications and marketing trustee, said:
“Steve has supported us for a long time through his YouTube videos and on his other social media channels, so it is only right that we formally name him as an ambassador for the Trust. We look forward to working even more closely with him in the future.”

“It’s an honour to be asked to be an ambassador of Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust, and to be recognised for my work to raise awareness of the trust so far. Watch this space for more to come.”
