33rd Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust Ltd. will be held on Friday 9 June 2023 at 7.15pm at Park View Centre, 2 Chester Road North, Brownhills, Walsall, WS8 7JB and on Zoom.
Members and non-members are welcome to join us at the Park View Centre, or you can take part online with a computer or smart-phone, or by telephone. You do not need a camera or mic to view the meeting, but you will need to register using the online form here.

2. Minutes of the 32nd Annual General Meeting held on Friday 10 June 2022.
3. Matters Arising.
4. Chair and Directors’ Reports.
5. Treasurer’s Report and Presentation of Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022.
6. Election of Directors:
(a) Trustees retiring by rotation and eligible to stand for re-election: Christine Bull, Jeff March and Christine Howles
(b) Directors co-opted during the year and nominated by Council for election: Caroline Habart
(c) Any other nominations received: None
7. Appointment of Accounts Examiner: Dains LLP – Chartered Accountants.
8. Any Other Business.
9. Close of formal business.
10. Guest Speaker: Nick Mott, River Restoration Manager at Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, freshwater and wetlands ecologist.
Note 1: A member entitled to attend and vote is entitled to appoint a proxy. A Form of Proxy can be obtained from the Company Secretary (Colin Booker), to whom they should be returned at least 48 hours before the time appointed for the meeting.
Note 2: A summary of the 2022 Annual Accounts, subject to approval, is included in Cut Both Ways magazine. Any member wanting a copy of the full accounts in advance of the meeting should contact the Treasurer, Bob Williams.
Note 3: Non-members are welcome to attend but cannot vote at the AGM.
