Most of our work so far this year has been at Fosseway. “The Staffords” (Roger and Jean) have worked tirelessly several days each week to reuse the original bricks from the canal wall and complete the abutments for the board walks. The rest of us have collected, cut up and burned the vegetation dug up by the realignment of the canal route.
We’ve mostly been at Fosseway since October as the time pressure for completing the Postcode Local Trust funded project requires much preparatory work.
