May 25th
We were honoured to transport the Bower Queen, Ellie Wheeler, and her deputy, Tegan Grist, on our float - the "Bower Belle" - in the Bower Procession for 2015.
This was history in the making as we took the first narrowboat through Lichfield since the canal was abandoned in the 1950s.
The Procession is part of the Greenhill Bower Festival - Lichfield's oldest tradition, held on the May Bank Holiday. http://lichfieldbower.co.uk/
Many thanks go to Bob Mullarkey, who designed and built the float.
