WORKING PARTIES

We have several regular working parties  in both Canal Engineering and Green/Grounds environmental work.

Volunteers come and go as they wish,  even if it’s only for a couple of hours your help will be most welcome.  Our own work parties are sometimes supplemented by visits from the Waterway Recovery Group (WRG) and other corporate groups.

If you can help please contact  volunteering.org.uk

You can also get involved via the  Waterway Recovery Group

WHEN AND WHERE

We have several work parties in both canal engineering and green/grounds work.

Our main work sites are at Tamworth Road in Lichfield, at Summerhill near the Boat Inn on the A461, and at Fosseway Lane.

Usually we work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and at weekends but please check Facebook for more details. Updates are posted in our Facebook Group weekly.

ALL SITES:   Bring old clothes, stout footwear, work gloves, and refreshments. Hard hats and basic working tools can be provided as necessary, although you are welcome to bring your own.
