If you are a qualifying taxpayer Gift Aid can make your subscription worth more. For every £1 you give us we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue. Just tick the box in the Gift Aid Declaration to allow us to reclaim tax on the amount you have paid. It’s that simple.

Those who have been members of the Trust for a number of years will know that the annual membership fees have remained unchanged at a relatively low level for some considerable time despite increases in postage and other admin costs.
It has been possible to do this largely because of the number of members who add an additional donation when they renew their subscription. The directors would like to thank everyone most sincerely for these valuable donations over the years and would ask that other members consider doing likewise, if they feel able to do so. Thank you all for your generosity.
Incidentally to all members: If we don’t have your email address, or if you have changed it recently, it would be good if you could let me know so that we can move towards contacting as many of you as possible by email.
Owing to the ever increasing cost of postage, the Trust Council has decided to discontinue sending “Courtesy Reminders” to those members who pay by Bankers Order. Consequently, it would be more economical for the Trust if those who pay by cheque could change to a Bankers Order, using the form available below, or call 01543 671427 to have one sent to you.
In March 2015 we published issue no.1 of ‘Towpath Times’ - a new way to keep our members up-to-date with goings on here at LHCRT. A newsletter will be sent out periodically by email to all those whose email address we have. That’s about 600 of you at present.
